Robert Emmets GAA are saddened to hear of the death of Joe Clavin, a founding member of our club.
Joe was very much involved with the promotion of hurling in the club. A meticulous record keeper, he filled notebooks with details of matches played, including players names, scorers and any incidents of note.
We were honoured to have Joe attend the clubs 50th Anniversary celebration in 2019 and delighted that we could honour him for all the time and effort he put into the club through the years.
We extend our sympathies to his family and friends.
