Our Story
Two of our own Eoin Best (Under-11 Girls Mentor & Assistant Chairperson) and Des Sharkey (Hurling Mentor), are taking on the Dublin Marathon 2025! But they’re not just running for personal glory; they’re running to raise vital funds for Robert Emmets CLG—and they need your support!
Both Eoin and Des have completed the marathon before, each recording a time of 4:07, but this year, they’re determined to break the 4-hour barrier. To make it even more meaningful, they\’re using this challenge to raise vital funds for Robert Emmets CLG—and you can help!
How You Can Support
👉 Donate: Every euro raised will go directly to supporting the club, helping with facilities, equipment, and future development.
👉 Sponsor: We’re seeking a local business to sponsor their running jerseys, with your logo featured on the front and back. As an added incentive, the sponsor has the option to boost their donation by 50% if they smash their sub-4-hour goal!
